Luke's a Big Boy!

We took the plunge. We converted Luke into a toddler bed.  Luke never tried to crawl out of his crib and has always been a really good sleeper.  Then one day he decided he didn’t want to sleep in his crib anymore.  Bedtimes were becoming a battle and he started waking up more in the nights then he did when he was 4 months old.  We noticed how he liked to pull up the sheets and blankets on our bed and decided it was time.   It took him about a week to discover he could get out of his bed.  Then began the game.  He would appear in our room at random times of the night and shout out “mama” with as much excitement as a two year old can fester at 3 AM.  Before we knew it, we had a problem.  We did our research and decided that the Super Nanny Approach to bedtime was the way to go.  It took 9 times the first night we tried it, but since then, he’s been sleeping great!

One of the many nights we had to get him to fall asleep in our bed before carrying him back to his crib.
So excited to be in his own bed.

It was just a matter of time before the pugs decided it was small enough for them.

Couldn't wait for mom to put on the sheets, had to test it out right away.  Butt in the air and all!

Oh, He is still such a cutie. We really do need to get those boys together. They seem like they are right on the same page.
