Luke had a great time on Thanksgiving. I still can’t believe how big he’s getting. He insists on feeding himself. Luke loves to eat, which made Thanksgiving a day he really enjoyed. He got to try new things and enjoyed having all the adults stare at him. He definitely put on a show for everyone. His hair is still out of control! We were going to take him to have it cut, but there really isn’t much to cut… we’ve just got to figure out how to tame it. =) Any suggestions?!

November
Wow! How fast time flies. Luke is now just days away from 11 months, Thanksgiving is just day’s away and time keeps passing faster then we can keep up with. I can’t believe Luke will be 1 in just over a month. We’ve been planning his first birthday since June. =) Yet we’re still not sure what we’re going to do. Hopefully something simple with friends and family…
Luke’s still growing so fast! He’s very tall and thin. He smiles all the time and thinks everything is called “Dada” lately. He refuses to say “mama” these days. I think he knows it drives me nuts. He’s starting to really interact with the dogs. Maggie has finally come around and decided he’s not so bad. He’s a bit more independent leaving time for mom and dad to pay a little more attention to the dogs. The dogs like to play with him, often times bringing their stinky, grimy toys and dropping them in his lap, which he then shoves in his mouth! GROSS! I’m washing the dog’s toys with bleach almost daily now since I can’t always control what he’s going to do with them. =)
Here are a few pictures taken in the last few weeks. We had to get a “play yard” which is basically a little pen for kids. =) He’s all over the place and after a fall down our long, steep stairs we decided we had to find something we could stick him in if we had to turn our backs for more than a second. He didn’t like it at first, but now he doesn’t mind so much. Oh… he’s newest trick, you ask him what the “Puggie” says and he’ll scrunch up his nose and snort! That’s what he’s doing in one of the pictures.

Happy Halloween
Lukas was a very cute bumble bee and I was Rainbow Brite (for those who remember). Brad did not dress up this year, and I wouldn't have either if I didn't have to work Garden After Dark.=) But Luke was a hit. He went trick-or-treating at the grandparents and we tried a few neighbors. Though his fear of men made us stop after the first house. =) Here are a few more pictures, enjoy!

So Big!
Lukas is "SO BIG"! (As Auntie Kat would say.) He's now 10 months old and doing so many new things. He's growing so fast that we're having a hard time keeping up with the blog. It seems like every day is a new adventure. Luke is crawling, walking along the furniture, climbing the stairs and sliding down, and beginning to talk. His first word, other than "mama" & "dada", was "banana". (Though it sounds more like "nanana") Very cute! Anyway, to make up for the lack of postings here's a bunch of pictures ranging from 8 months up until now... 10 months
Love a Pug!
Look at the rolls! Definitely eating well! Luke won't sit still for even a diaper change these days, he's so interested in everything, especially the PUGS!
My Little Bumble Bee
Lukas will be a Bumble Bee for halloween. he's not so sure about the costume, he sure did have a good time trying to pull it off...

Luke and Berkley playing. Berkley is three days older than Luke. Then the last picture is Luke and Brad getting ready to go fishing... Enjoy!
Fish Lake - Almost 8 months old

We spent the weekend in Fish Lake. Luke enjoyed the outdoors. He got to go on a boat ride, watch mom and dad fish, and play with his cousins. Here are a few picturs of the his vacation... The first picture is Luke enjoying his bath in the sink of one of the cabin, the second is all the cousins. Emma (4), Jack (7), and Lukas (8 months). The third is the Pierce family, from left to right - Greg, Jack, Emma, Kelly, Luke, Brad, Dave. The fourth picture is Brad, Luke and Elisa.
