Wow! How fast time flies. Luke is now just days away from 11 months, Thanksgiving is just day’s away and time keeps passing faster then we can keep up with. I can’t believe Luke will be 1 in just over a month. We’ve been planning his first birthday since June. =) Yet we’re still not sure what we’re going to do. Hopefully something simple with friends and family…
Luke’s still growing so fast! He’s very tall and thin. He smiles all the time and thinks everything is called “Dada” lately. He refuses to say “mama” these days. I think he knows it drives me nuts. He’s starting to really interact with the dogs. Maggie has finally come around and decided he’s not so bad. He’s a bit more independent leaving time for mom and dad to pay a little more attention to the dogs. The dogs like to play with him, often times bringing their stinky, grimy toys and dropping them in his lap, which he then shoves in his mouth! GROSS! I’m washing the dog’s toys with bleach almost daily now since I can’t always control what he’s going to do with them. =)
Here are a few pictures taken in the last few weeks. We had to get a “play yard” which is basically a little pen for kids. =) He’s all over the place and after a fall down our long, steep stairs we decided we had to find something we could stick him in if we had to turn our backs for more than a second. He didn’t like it at first, but now he doesn’t mind so much. Oh… he’s newest trick, you ask him what the “Puggie” says and he’ll scrunch up his nose and snort! That’s what he’s doing in one of the pictures.
