Saving Sam (Chapter 3.14): Doom the halls with boughs of holly

There's something to be said about anticipation.  When it's regarding something exciting, it's kind of fun. Many kids in the world are starting to build their anticipation of the upcoming Christmas holidays.  I remember those days with fondness.  You were so excited you couldn't sleep.  You'd crawl into bed on Christmas Eve and would think that the night would never end.  Visions of presents around the tree, Santa eating your cookies, and reindeer on the roof just made it worse.  The anticipation was of the giddy sort.  You sat awake because you couldn't wait to....well, wake up for the big day.
