Mom, Dad, and Lukas are home from the hospital. Elisa went into labor at 5:30pm, Sunday night (December 17, 2006). After an hour commute thanks to a snow storm and accident on the freeway, we arrived at St. Mark's at 6:30pm. And then we played the waiting game.
Elisa was amazing. She was so strong through 16 hours of labor, and delivered our precious little baby boy (Lukas Edward Pierce) at 8:28am. Lukas was 7 lbs exactly, and 19 inches long. And he is absolutely beautiful. This first post is one of the first pictures of our little guy, and the posts above are of all of the other moments we've had in just 5 days with him. Lukas will be 1 week old on Christmas Day!
